Breaking the Bias: Celebrating Women in Technology

In honor of International Women's Day, Tuxcare and CloudLinux will celebrate women in technology.

The technology industry has come a long way in recognizing women's significant contributions to the field. Initially, there were not many women in the technology field, and for the few that were, they did not receive the same opportunities as their male counterparts. Now that there are more tech companies due to the advancement of technology, more women are obtaining degrees in technical areas. Women are also showing younger women that they can succeed in a male-dominated field.

For International Women's Day, we encourage everyone to break any bias they have, no matter what field they are in. We should all live in a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. Companies should value everyone's differences while remaining diverse and inclusive.

This year for International Women's Day, Tuxcare recognizes women's contributions to not only the technical field but their undeniable impact on our company. We encourage all other companies to continue to break the bias and encourage women to keep moving forward. View how we celebrated International Women's Day by viewing the video below.
